We use the most modern physical therapy modalities including ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation, spinal mechanical traction, etc. I also use various muscle soft tissue techniques to aid in healing and recovery. Once we get patients to a stable point, I believe we need to add a low tech muscle strengthening program to the treatment plan. This is not to make you into Arnold Schwarzenegger, but to help keep your spine stable and strong. This will help lessen the chance of re-injury
