Diet and Exercise Tip of the Month (Dress appropriately for your workout)

It’s important to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing appropriate for the weather and the activity. Sometimes this is easier said than done, especially during those times of the year when the weather can make such a drastic change from one day to the next.

Here are a few tips:

 

– In the spring and fall, layers will be your best friend.

– Wear reflective clothing if you exercise outside at night.

– Avoid cotton.

The material will cling to your body when wet and make it hard for you to feel comfortable.

When exercising, remember “Cotton is Rotten”. Choose synthetic alternatives for better heat and moisture transfer.
