Our Techniques
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our judgment and years of experience.
The primary adjusting techniques we use include:

We use the most modern physical therapy modalities including ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation, spinal mechanical traction, etc. I also use various muscle soft tissue techniques to aid in healing and recovery. Once we get patients to a stable point, I believe we need to add a low tech muscle strengthening program to the treatment plan. This is not to make you into Arnold Schwarzenegger, but to help keep your spine stable and strong. This will help lessen the chance of re-injury.
If you’ve been to a chiropractor before and prefer to be adjusted in a particular way, let Dr. Allan Puritz know. We want you to relax, enjoy and fully benefit from your chiropractic care.
Massage Therapy
The combination of massage and chiropractic is a very powerful approach to improvement of the overall health of the body and mind by means of natural, safe and effective health care. Both services are holistic in nature, and are based in the belief that the body, when given the chance, will heal itself. These treatments are highly complementary and can mutually enhance the benefits of each types of treatment.
When you are injured there are various phases you must go through to recover. The most important is the "pain phase". Massage and chiropractic together are incredible in getting you through this phase. You heal much more quickly when the muscles are relaxed (massage) and the nerves have no pressure on them (chiropractic).
